Problem viewing photos embedded from imageshack

Hi.
I wanted to talk about an issue that's becoming frustrating for me.
I am also interested in watches like you are, but whenever it is that someone embeds photos on this forum from imageshack, I can't view them.

Instead of seeing the images, I see imageshack's image of the frog in the ice and it tells me "Domain Unregistered... etc"
I tried registering at imageshack and reloading the pages with the images, but I still can't view the photos.

Examples of the many times this happens are these two threads:
this and this

Is anyone else experiencing this?
Why does it happen to me?

The same thing happens to me my friend. Unfortunately.
If you have register in imageshack, you can login to the site, and after that refresh the PCS forum page that you will can see the images ... but you have to be logged. No mistake. These images will only appear if you are logged on imageshack.

Because of this problem, I'm using PHOTOBULKET to host my images. In PHOTOBULKET you do not need to sign in to view My Pictures.
Really?

Well here I would like to recommend that others also consider using Photobucket instead. Apart from other reasons, it might also be of benefit for you if you want to "advertise" a watch that you are trying to sell here.

Now I will try the method you told me for viewing imageshack images (even though I'm almost sure that last time I did this step correctly but it wouldn't work). I will let you know if it works now.
No no!

Simply connect to the site (imageshack), enter your username and password . After this, copy the link of the picture, for example:

The image above is the topic:

You click with the right mouse button over the picture (which has the frog), choose: COPY URL OF IMAGE and paste this URL into your browser.

That's it!
sad to say guys,

I see the same stupid frog and the same message that timte has mentioned.

Can we ban using imageshack ? The experience is irritating ! Use photobucket for goodness sake.
Photobucket is iphone app friendly too. It's time to consider the change because it's making some of our viewing experience rather unpleasant.

This is the place to view watches not frogs. Red Face
I don't understand yet why some can view imageshacks photos and others not.

On this link, for example, this is what I see:

I searched a bit and found this information about the matter. I quote here the important bit:

quote:
Apparently, the hoster has just recently implemented a 'registered domains' system: this policy requires that webmasters register their domains with ImageShack in order to ensure that visitors to their site can view all ImageShack-hosted images. And because no prior warning about this sudden change in policy was made to the Internet-going public, it seemed that many were caught unaware when the policy was enforced. As such, ImageShack users who have hotlinked images to unregistered domains will only see this image on the offending site:

More importantly, it appears that this issue is affecting users on a global scale, and is not just limited to users from a particular geographical region. To remedy the situation, users can either attempt to visit the link listed on the image above and register their often-visited sites with the image hosting service, or bug the webmasters of those websites to do so on their behalf.

Can you eve see the direct urls? For instance

http://img541.imageshack.us/im...93/dsc0018resize.jpg

is one for the Casio 31QGR. If you cant even see these its down to your browser and imageshack.

Its not anything to do with the PCS code

Though I still don't understand what to make of this matter.

I believe that Imageshack has blocked the access to some locations the images hosted on the site ... Unless login.

I believe that ALL people in the future will have to login to the site ImageShack to view images hosted on this site. Note that this is happening to some people already. I had commented on this before here in PCS forum. I believe that gradually the server will block other countries too ...
