A beautiful collection milkoangel! Surely you will miss a lot of your watches after selling them. These watches are like part of a family. My heart gets tight in knowing that you gonna sell your watches. But anyway, I hope you are always in our PCS forum.
Yellow version? Do you mean the buttons? If so, I really don't know. I think the yellow buttons are more common, but I wouldn't bet my house on it. The only other colour of CASE that I've ever seen on a BM-100W was a dark green - same module and such, and it had black buttons.
I realize this is an old thread but I have one too and yeah when I went off the manual's TV codes it didn't work I guess it's because the manual was talking about old tvs or something, but I just did trial and error and it eventually worked I have a Sharp TV and I think the code was something like 38. I now have it set up to control my laptop, my speakers and my tv! Quick brag: I found mine on gumtree for a tenner

Awesome post, thank you!! I have several DBC-62s and they're great watches. I've been trying to find the made-in-Japan version of these watches but are rare... Looking forward to more of your other posts regarding the DBC family in the future!
Thanks to you both! I truly appreciate the fine work that Casio did with these watches. Kamika007z, I also have a "Made in Japan" version that I recently cleaned up in a similar fashion. The screen was in pretty bad shape and I did the best I could with it. Here's a side by side (not great quality) picture of the "Made in Japan" vs. "Made in Korea" editions of the DBC-62: Notice the tiny text "JAPAN N" at the bottom of the screen, and also the difference in color behind the LCD. I also...
That's awesome, thank you for showing the side by side comparison! I had restored my friend's DBC-62 that was made in Japan and I noticed the case back stating "Made in Japan" as well as the "JAPAN N" at the bottom center but I didn't notice the difference in screen nor light. I do believe the light is green in the Japanese one and yellowish in the Korea version. Is that the actual case with your two watches?
Yes, you are correct. Here's a comparison shot of the back plate of both watches, side by side: In my case, the light looks to be about the same color (yellowish) in both watches, but the Korean version nearly lights up the whole watch screen, wherein the Japanese light only lights the left side well, and almost not the right side. I'd be curious to see the green-style light for a DBC-62 that lights the whole screen, similar to the light on the other newer DBC models. Is that what the green...
That is such a difficult question, i won't burn my hands on it again Sometimes you see watches go for a certain amount, the next week you see them sell for half the price it was sold earlier. An example is a topic on the "digitalwatch forum" , we thought this pair of seiko's would go for about $600/$700 on the first auction, it did not sell at $129,50. The seller made a Buy it now listing for $300, and it sold right away. See what i mean ? Look:...
Oh i see, i misunderstood. I thought you were about to sell the watch, but actually you want to buy it. Can't really say what it would be worth but, Here are some ebay completed listings on this watch, maybe that can be a bit of a guideline? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MENS...rksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mega...rksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINT...rksid=p2047675.l2557
Sorry to bring bad news, but it will be difficult to find a new glass for this watch. You could keep an eye out on ebay, maybe something will come along. You also could try and contact ebay member "samimadrid" and ask him if he has that crystal. This crystal is not in his ebay shop right now, but he might have it somewhere else, it's worth a try.
Hello, Well that was I was fearing (I've search a lot for this glass and AX-210/250... stuff are pretty rare). I'll try to find a shop where I can build a new one, or wait for something to appear on the bay. Thanks again !
